Because of the holiday season, the restaurants I originally planned to visit were all closed. Even the famous traditional market and the Salted Seafood (Jeotgal) Street were nearly empty. It felt like having a whole town to myself—peaceful, quiet, and delightfully surreal. 🍲 Local Gem: Boiled-at-the-Table Kalguksu Searching for an open spot to eat, I stumbled upon a local Kalguksu (noodle soup) restaurant packed with neighborhood locals.

오늘은 자전거를 타고 다녀온 영월 여행의 하이라이트, 청령포와 청령포원 방문기를 남겨보려고 해요.

전날 제천에서 영화 <왕과 사는 남자>의 배경을 보고 와서 그런지, 청령포로 향하는 날의 흐린 날씨가 단종의 슬픈 운명을 더욱 애잔하게 만들어주는 듯했어요. 

청령포는 삼면이 강으로 둘러싸이고 한쪽은 깎아지른 절벽으로 막혀있어, 그야말로 자연 감옥 같은 유배지였답니다. 흐린 하늘 아래 짙은 소나무 숲과 잔잔히 흐르는 강물을 바라보니 단종의 외로움과 슬픔이 고스란히 전해지는 것 같았어요. 

배를 타고 강을 건너 청령포에 도착하니, 관리가 정말 잘 되어 있다는 느낌을 받았어요. 단종어소와 망향탑, 노산대까지 깔끔하게 정돈되어 있어 둘러보기 좋았습니다. 단, 이곳저곳 천천히 둘러보며 둘레길을 걷기에는 코스가 제법 길어 발이 조금 아플 수도 있으니 편한 신발은 필수예요!

주변에 위치한 청령포원 역시 기대 이상이었어요. 드넓은 정원이 너무나 깔끔하게 꾸며져 있어, 맑은 날씨에 자전거를 타거나 산책하기에 완벽한 곳이더라고요. 슬픈 역사의 여운을 느끼며 조용히 사색에 잠기기에도, 자전거의 페달을 밟으며 시원한 바람을 맞기에도 참 좋은 코스였습니다.

[안성] 미리내 성지 Mirinae catholic holy place, Anseong-si, Korea

우리나라 최초의 신부가 잠들어 있는 안성의 미리내 성지에 다녀왔습니다.

오랜세월 하나씩 잘 가꾼 덕분인지 왠만한 유료 관광지의 산책길보다 훨씬 좋았고, 

종교 건물과 청동상들이 어우러진 모습이 경건한 느낌도 들게 합니다.

입구에서 부터 시원한 그늘을 만들어주는 산책길을 따라 쭉 올라가면 랜드마크인 석조건물의 성당이 하나 있습니다.

그리고 성당을 나오면 이쁜 건물이 또 있습니다

이 사진의 모습이 너무 좋아서 한 참을 봤습니다.

그리고 내려가면 확트인 정원이 있습니다.

정원 곳곳에는 종교박해의 내용을 담은 청동상이 있습니다.

사계절이 모두 좋다고 하니 계절 바뀔때 또 한번 들러야겠네요.

평택항의 밤은 조용하고 시원하게 뻗은 도로와 가로등 덕분에 멋있습니다.

일과가 끝나고 사람은 모두 퇴근하고

컨테이너와 해외로 수출될 자동차들만 남은 항구는 뭔가 느낌이 새롭습니다.

국내 자동차 수출량 1위라고 하는 그 곳을 야간에 달려봤습니다.
